Branson Day 21

Pretty day today and I am feeling a little better. We went riding, picked up our photos at Walmart and went to see about renting a pontoon boat sometime. Then we drove to Springfield and went to Bass Pro Shops and ate at Lamberts Cafe. Took a few photos of our excursions.

Branson Day 20

The edge of the storm came through here last night. Rain, some hail, wind and lightning but fortunately we didn't get what they did in Indiana and Kentucky. Emily had a good time at Silver Dollar City last night. The lights were beautiful. The pictures are of the lights and a couple of the shows.
It has been pretty today, but we stayed in. I am still feeling pretty bad. Emily went this afternoon and bought groceries. We went to Sonic to eat tonight.

Branson Day 19

Very warm day today. I am coming down with a cold and haven't felt good. Emily helped cook the park breakfast this morning but I stayed in bed. We just sat around most of the day. Emily decided that she would go check out Silver Dollar City this afternoon. I may go back with her when I get to feeling better.

Thought that I would throw in a few pictures for Dominick. We took these when we were in Ft. Collins, CO. Doesn't seem like too long ago, but it was in late July.

Branson Day 18

Here are a few pictures of the campground. The weather was wonderful today. Should have done something, but we just stayed around. Emily rode the bike and went and got her hair cut. We cooked purple-hull peas and rib-eye steak tonight. Was really good.

Branson Day 17

Another beautiful day. We worked on our crafts. Emily is doing needlepoint and I am painting-by-numbers. Emily rode her bike and took a few pictures. The trees are just across the creek from where we are camped. The bottom two pictures are of our campground but are taken from the other side of the creek so she couldn't get our trailer.

Branson Day 16

Another beautiful day in Branson. We went for a ride in the Ozark Mountains (Hills?) around Branson. Found the Sears store in Reed's Springs just north of Branson West and paid the Sears bill. Made a trip to the Super Walmart in Branson West while we were there. Didn't get any pictures today. Will try to do better tomorrow.

Branson Day 15

Beautiful day today. Went riding around town and went to a mall where they have free entertainment. Have included some pictures of the singer that was the entertainment today. His name is Donnie Sneed and he was a really good singer and comedian. He said that he had been in the business for over fifty years. He and his wife have been married for forty years and they have fifteen grandchildren. We had a good time listening to him. We ate lunch at the Grand Country Buffet. It wasn't real good, but the lady in line ahead of us gave us a half-price coupon so it averaged out. We then went to Old Downtown Branson and walked around for a while. We were tired out when we got back. This daylight saving time tires you out anyway.

Branson Day 14

Not too cold last night. Dreary and raining this morning. We stayed in all day and didn't do much. Here are some Branson pictures taken from up on the mountain.

BREAKFAST AT PEPPERCORN'S IN BRANSON

Had breakfast this morning with our North Dakota friends plus Mel and Jane Froehlich from Minnesota. Mel and Jane are also volunteers at Medora. It rained this morning. Rode around and went to Walmart. Learned how to send photos to walmart for printing. Tried a few just as a test. I can send them to any Walmart so I might send some your way sometime.

SOME PHOTOS OF OUR TIME AT MEDORA

Slow day today. We just stayed in and rested. It was a really pretty day. Emily helped cook and serve breakfast this morning, then she went to craft class. We will meet our friends for breakfast in the morning. They have to leave Monday morning.

Branson Day 11

RICHARD, LLOYD AND MARGE

It was cold last night, but is really pretty today.
We got a call from our friends Lloyd and Marge this morning. They didn't get in until late last night. We are going to meet them for lunch today. They came here on one of those Time-Share presentation things, so they will have to go hear the presentation sometime. We ate at Dockers with Lloyd and Marge and Lloyd's cousin and her husband Lena and Tom Volochenko. Lloyd and Marge are from Mandan, ND and his cousins are from Butte, ND. That's the Docker Resturant behind us in the picture. We had tickets to go see the Pierce Arrow show at 8:00 tonight. We just got back from the show and it was excellant.

It is a beautiful day here. Emily is cleaning house and I re-strung the reclining lawn chair. Our friends called and said that they were in Iowa and would be in tonight. We are anxious to see them.

EMILY'S RIDING CLUB

Slow day. Just stayed in most of the day. Emily rode her bike and went to grocery store. We have cable TV here but when you get used to satallite with info and all it is kinda hard to watch cable. So, I sat up the satallite dish this afternoon.
