Branson Day 14

Not too cold last night. Dreary and raining this morning. We stayed in all day and didn't do much. Here are some Branson pictures taken from up on the mountain.

LLOYD AND MARGE STELTER AT MEDORA

BREAKFAST AT PEPPERCORN'S IN BRANSON

Had breakfast this morning with our North Dakota friends plus Mel and Jane Froehlich from Minnesota. Mel and Jane are also volunteers at Medora. It rained this morning. Rode around and went to Walmart. Learned how to send photos to walmart for printing. Tried a few just as a test. I can send them to any Walmart so I might send some your way sometime.

Branson Day 12

SOME PHOTOS OF OUR TIME AT MEDORA

Slow day today. We just stayed in and rested. It was a really pretty day. Emily helped cook and serve breakfast this morning, then she went to craft class. We will meet our friends for breakfast in the morning. They have to leave Monday morning.

Branson Day 11

RICHARD, LLOYD AND MARGE

It was cold last night, but is really pretty today.
We got a call from our friends Lloyd and Marge this morning. They didn't get in until late last night. We are going to meet them for lunch today. They came here on one of those Time-Share presentation things, so they will have to go hear the presentation sometime. We ate at Dockers with Lloyd and Marge and Lloyd's cousin and her husband Lena and Tom Volochenko. Lloyd and Marge are from Mandan, ND and his cousins are from Butte, ND. That's the Docker Resturant behind us in the picture. We had tickets to go see the Pierce Arrow show at 8:00 tonight. We just got back from the show and it was excellant.

Branson Day 10

Here are the pictures of the day: We will start taking some new ones soon, but in the meantime we will just review old times.

It is a beautiful day here. Emily is cleaning house and I re-strung the reclining lawn chair. Our friends called and said that they were in Iowa and would be in tonight. We are anxious to see them.

Still at Branson. Haven't heard from our friends yet. Maybe today. Cold again last night; don't know how cold since our outdoor thermometer quit last night. We have bad luck with wireless remote thermometers. That's two now.

EMILY'S RIDING CLUB

Slow day. Just stayed in most of the day. Emily rode her bike and went to grocery store. We have cable TV here but when you get used to satallite with info and all it is kinda hard to watch cable. So, I sat up the satallite dish this afternoon.

Branson Day 7

Thought that I would throw in some recent pictures.

CAMPGROUND AT TWO HARBORS ON LAKE SUPERIOR

It got down to 32 degrees last night but is warming up nicely today. It was good to hear from Tim and Rach and Miranda last night. Now if we can get Marshall on board we will be ready to go.

Just got an email from Marshall and talked to him over the phone about the blog. He is answering the invitation email and we should be hearing from him any time now. Emily has gone to help with cooking the lunch for the RV park. They have a meal several times a week. Looks like Marshall and Floye are online now so we can communicate easily.

Branson Day 6

PICTURE OF ROR WITH JOHN BYNER FROM A FEW NIGHTS AGO
(I've learned how to download pictures, so will try to include a few along)

It got down to about 40 degrees last night. Looks like today will be nice. Emily has gotten involved in some craft work here at the park so she has gone to make some copies.

Went out for a drive and to the place that advertises discount tickets. They don't have tickets for all the shows, but have half price tickets for many of them. We stopped at Golden Corral for lunch. Stopped at one of the craft malls and looked around. Emily has gone to ride her bike.

Branson, Missouri

We have been in Branson for five days now and are having a good time. Yesterday we drove up to Springfield and went to Bass Pro. We enjoyed looking around, but it was not nearly as good as the Cabela's in Ft. Worth. Here you have to pay to see the mounted animals and there is a wildlife museum next door where you have to pay. It was fun though and we really got interested in the pontoon boats. I think that we would be a little too long, however, if we tried to pull a pontoon boat behind the fifth-wheel. Maybe we will have to go get the Explorer and just start having a caravan wherever we go. That might have to wait until gas gets a little cheaper.

After we left Bass Pro we went to Lamberts resturant (where they have the "throwed rolls"). Emily had Chicken and Dumplings and I had a whole rack of Pork Ribs. When I finished these the server asked me if I wanted more. I was forced to say no although I never thought that I would get full of smoked ribs. We waited an hour to get a table, which is something that we wouldn't normally do. Lamberts is one of the few places that is worth it however.

We are resting today. We will probably pick a couple of shows and get tickets for them next week. I will try to do a daily report as long as we have Internet service.

Getting Started

We have started a blog to make it easier to keep up with our travels and keep everyone informed. I will post more when I see how this works and figure how to do it. Please check in periodically to see what's new and exciting. Later.
